A Review: Forty Rules of Love (Elif Shafak)

What a delightful work of wisdom and knowledge that inspires, intrigues and stirs the intellect in you to take a plunge into the river of spirituality and swim through the realms of Nafs, universal love and Sufi's of 12 Century!

'As long as I knew myself, I would be all right, Whosoever knows himself, knows the One'

Forty Rules of Love is a charming journey of wisdom meeting wisdom and not only recognizing the spiritual depth of each other but also finding solace in each others company. The first book I read on Rumi and Tabriz and no doubt it has beautifully set a preface in my mind. Loved the style of story telling that is simple and clear yet deep where the writer wants its readers to indulge in spiritual thinking.
